Friendliest cafe in Yorkshire! Best cakes, biscuits and scones, very delicious with wide variety of options including very tasty gluten free and vegan. Prices are very reasonable especially for the quantity and quality of the food. The baked items not only look beautiful but taste even better! Lunch menu is delicious as well.

Lovely cafe with a super menu and a very friendly and helpful staff. You can look around the shop upstairs as well. The food is delicious, freshly made, and well priced. Love my poached eggs on toast on a breakfast visit and well filled sandwiches uf there for lunch. The homemade scones are freshly made every day, and there is a good selection of other tempting sweet treats. Well worth a visit or book to ensure a table. It does get busy.

Over years been here a few times and always had good service coffee and cakes. Called in on Thursday and ate lunch. We both ordered coffee and salads one tuna one hummus and although place was busy we would make our appointment. Well we did spot on food one of the best salads had in a cafe for a longtime. This wasnt the usual bit of lettuce cucumber and tomatoes but potato salad coleslaw peppers and packed with filling.

Went for a bit of brunch with the mother-in-law, it was very busy but well space so we could talk without having to shout at each other, we were served at our table the staff are very friendly and have taken the time to get to know the regulars, we had 2 cheese and onion toasties and scrambled eggs on toast, a hot chocolate a cup of coffee and an apple juice, the toasties came with home made coleslaw which was very nice and I would recommend as an extra to anything. The quality of the food was very good, my eggs were lovely and soft, the bread was very nice too. I was charged £25.50 which I found a little pricey but I suppose everything is a little pricey these days.
